Anita Marie Stuart Colafrancesco Obituary

COLAFRANCESCO, ANITA MARIE STUART, age 75 of Pinson, AL, passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends, on January 5, 2008. She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. She was also an avid Alabama Football Fan. "She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother." She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Edna Stuart; and a brother, John Paul Stuart. Survivors are her husband of 55 years, Louis Colafrancesco; children, Marie Richardson, Vicki Swann (Randy), Cindy Ferraro (Peter), Donna Yielding (Michael), Anthony Colafrancesco (Trina),, Christina Cornelius (Dan), and Rosemary Colafrancesco; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Van Sandt, Irene Castner, and Mae Cocklin; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Church service will be Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Catholic Church with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to everyone on the staff at St. Vincent's East for their care of Mrs. Colafrancesco and to Father Michael Wrigley and parishioners at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
